ABOUT THE COURSE
Certificate IV in Electrotechnology Systems Electrician is a gap training for electricians who want to upskill and work with more advanced equipment and do electrical supervision.
Certificate IV In Electrotechnology Systems Electrician covers competencies to select, install, commission, fault find and maintain electrical systems and equipment with options, typically in explosion protection; electrical machines; electrical inspection; safety auditing; contracting; lifts and energy supply/distribution.
There is no funding currently available for this course.
In order to enrol in Certificate IV in Electrotechnology - Systems Electrician you will require :
- UEE30811 – Cert III in Electro technology.
- 1 year experience
OR
- A valid Unrestricted Electrical Licence
AND
- A valid ID (eg. Drivers Licence)
NB : This course requires certain physical competencies that a wheelchair user or someone with significant physical disabilities simply may not be able to fulfill so please check with admin before enrolment.
The course duration will vary with experience and successful result of RPL.
Instrumentation apprenticeships are available. Please inquire with admin before enrolling.
You will need to bring :

- A laptop
- A notepad
- A pen
You will also need to have an email address, a laptop and a reliable internet connection in order to complete the online theory part of the course.
Enclosed footwear must be worn at all times when you are on the premises.
