ABOUT THE COURSE
EEHA Refresher (Hazardous Areas) is prepared for licenced Australian electricians who are required to attend a refresher program for electrical equipment in hazardous areas (EEHA)to refresh their skills and knowledge to match current industry standards on competencies that they have already gained. This EEHA refresher online training is intended to bring current Australian licenced electricians who have been previously trained in hazardous areas up to date on any changes to hazardous area standards and legislation.
The EEHA Refresher online course covers gas, dust and pressurisation.
In order to enrol in this EEHA Refresher online course you will require :
- EEHA/ Certificate IV in Hazardous Areas - Electrical
- A valid Unrestricted Australian Electrical Licence
- A valid ID (eg. Drivers Licence)
This EEHA refresher online course is 100% online. Once your enrolment is complete you will get access to our Elearning platform where you can access the resources, watch the videos and complete the assessments at your own pace.
The practical needs to be done on site and you will need to get your tradesmen/Supervisor to sign on it in the Supervisor signature section.
How often do I need to do my EEHA Hazardous Area Refresher course?
According to the Australian Standards " Appropriate continuing education or training shall be undertaken by personnel on a regular basis".
Most Oil and Gas employers will get their employees to do this refresher every 2 years. As per the standards this duration must not exceed 5 years. This could be formal training or on the job training.
